Saint LAMBERT, originaire de l'Artois, higoumène de Saint-Wandrille à Fontenelle en Normandie puis métropolitain de Lyon; fondateur du monastère de Donzère, en Vivarais (actuel département de l'Ardèche), qui fut détruit par les Maghrébins au VIIIème siècle (688).

Saint CHRISTOPHE de Saint-Sabbas, Persan de nation, Musulman converti devenu moine au monastère de Saint-Sabbas en Palestine, martyr par la main des Musulmans (797).

You who have rejected earthly honor and glory, / Valiant and honorable combatants, / You firmly and courageously suffered torments for the faith, / You have died for the life of all for the Master. / Therefore Christ also gloriously encircles you with a cloud column from heaven / And honors and crowns you with crowns from the throne of glory: / Standing before Him with the angels, pray to save  our souls.

I santi martiri lituani Antonio, Giovanni ed Eustazio (prima di convertirsi al cristianesimo chiamati rispettivamente Nezilo, Kumec e Kruglec), erano nobili facenti parte della corte del principe lituano Algirdas, a Vilna. Furono convertiti alla fede cristiana dal sacerdote Nestore. Antonio e Giovanni erano fratelli. Si rifiutarono di sacrificare agli idoli e si professarono cristiani, e per questo furono condannati all'impiccagione. In un secondo tempo, sul luogo del loro martirio furono eretti una chiesa e il monastero della SS. Trinità; la loro memoria fu introdotta nella liturgia nel 1347 dal metropolita Alessio di Mosca, e ricorre il 14 aprile. Furono canonizzati nel concilio del 1549.
